089: Stop Repeating Yourself! Save Your Sanity and Hit the Record Button
How many times a week do you have the same conversations with your patients? š¬
Whether itās dietary recommendations, specific stretches, how to mindfully breatheā¦ if you had a dollar for every time you repeated yourself, youād probably be rich! š°š°š°
When I had my full-time brick-and-mortar practice, I got sooooo tired of saying the same thing overā¦ and overā¦. and over again. Some days, I was so sick of hearing my own voice, I wondered how everyone else was even tolerating it. šµāš«
But donāt get me wrong. Iām all for delivering a great patient experience and being 100% present with each patient, but there are only so many times you can talk for 5-10 minutes about how to (fill-in-the-blank).
I needed someone to do an intervention. š āāļø
And thatās exactly what happened. Once I figured out that I could leverage my time by recording the things I repeated consistently, it was a total GAME CHANGER!
So, letās cut out the yakkety yak and get straight to the point. If you want to free up some time and leverage your superpowers, you need to be recording yourself. Now whether itās audio or video, thatās up to you, but you really need to get behind your camera or recorder. š¹š±š„
In this podcast, Iāve got 5 things to share that will help you get started so you can stop repeating yourself and start recording yourself. You will be amazed how much your efficiency will shoot through the roof (you can thank me later!)!
