075: How to Host a Group Detox in Your Practice with Dr. Bart Precourt
The New Year is just around the corner which means one thing – resolutions! Everyone will be setting new goals, making new health plans, and trying to change their trajectory for the upcoming year. One of the easiest ways for patients to jumpstart their health goals is with a group detox – and that’s exactly what my good friend, Dr. Bart Precourt does with his patients.
At first, he started small, with a group of only 20-25 patients and family members. Fast forward to today and he’s now has grown his January group detox tribe to over 250 people! And not surprisingly, along the way, he’s figured out a few best practices, how to enhance the patient experience, and managed to navigate all the logistical business challenges that come with such a large-scale production.
All of that to say… Dr. Bart is joining me on today’s podcast to share the good, the bad, and the ugly about how to get started with a cleanse, what can go wrong, and how to make sure you’re hitting it out of the park every time.
Hosting an annual group detox is an awesome way to create a tight-knit tribe and impact waaaay more people at one time. Patients feel more engaged in the process when there’s a sense of community to help keep them accountable and to provide support when needed.
If you’ve ever thought about starting a group detox for your patients but haven’t been sure where to start, this is the episode for you!
